During the Dog Days of Summer, the Simmons Pet Food team ‘treated’ shelter pets across the region. Team members joined NWA Tailwaggers to kick off the delivery of treats at the Siloam Springs Animal Shelter on Tuesday, August 6. Simmons partnered with NWA Tailwaggers to connect with local shelters and pet food banks for the donation of up to 15,000 bags of treats to 19 locations.
The Whole Earth Farms treats provided during the Dog Days of Summer are all-natural, grain-free treats made from a recipe that boasts real chicken as the number one ingredient.
Every dog deserves its day, especially those in shelters anxiously awaiting a new home.
“With the donations staff and volunteers will be able to use the treats to work with animals at the shelter. This will help to increase the chances for the pets to find forever homes. We thank Simmons for their continued generosity to the animal shelter.”
