Mizzou Students Visit Simmons

Simmons was pleased to welcome 28 students from the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources to tour our research farm, pet food and poultry production facilities in the Northwest Arkansas region. Dr. Craig Bacon, Senior Vice President of Technical Services, assisted with the tour. He is an MU grad and formerly served in the university’s Executive-in-Residence Program. In addition to touring facilities, students met with David Jackson, Chief Operating Officer, for dinner at 28 Springs in Siloam Springs.

Our goal is to expose agriculture students to a set of careers in our industry they might not have thought about or considered prior to making the visit. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to learn about the innovation happening at Simmons.
