Simmons’ Storm Relief Efforts in Northwest Arkansas

SILOAM SPRINGS, AR (May 30, 2024) – Simmons Team Members went into action this weekend to support local communities impacted by the severe storms and tornadoes that hit Benton County, Arkansas.

Simmons Chaplains, Safety Managers, HR, Live Operations, and Nursing Teams have been supporting search and rescue efforts, cleaning up and serving and delivering meals to the working crews and impacted families. Partnering with Decatur First Baptist Church, Simmons has provided grilled chicken sandwiches for more than 1,500 meals.

Additionally, 12 pallets of dog and cat food were donated to the Best Friends Animal Society and the Northwest Arkansas Humane Society. The pet food pantries at these locations are a vital resource, especially in the aftermath of the storms.

We are grateful for our Team Members and community coming together during this difficult time to serve one another.
