SILOAM SPRINGS, AR (August 27, 2025) Simmons Foods announced today the hiring of Mike Doublehead as Director of External Affairs for Oklahoma, a new role dedicated to strengthening Simmons’ presence and partnerships across the state.
Doublehead brings more than 25 years of leadership in municipal utilities and community service, most recently serving as General Manager of the Tahlequah Public Works Authority. His career includes key leadership positions with the Grand River Dam Authority Customer Group, the Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma Municipal Utility Services Authority, as well as service to the Cherokee Nation Tax Commission and numerous civic and nonprofit organizations.
