Simmons Foods Announces $100 Million Expansion In Van Buren, Arkansas

Today, Simmons Foods announced plans for a $100 Million expansion of its prepared foods operation located at 2101 Twin Circle Drive in Van Buren, Arkansas.


According to Joel Sappenfield, President of Simmons Prepared Foods, “This investment will create 100 new jobs, including highly skilled positions to support robotics and automation processes. The expansion will also support growth in the local economy and assist in meeting market demand for one of the fastest growing segments of the business - cooked products.”

Simmons Foods Announces $500,000 Donation For Gentry Splash Pad And Soccer Fields

Simmons Foods announced it will provide a donation to help fund the splash pad and soccer field projects included in the Master Parks Plan for the City of Gentry, Arkansas. The new splash pad, located in the northwest quarter of Gentry's city park which lies between Main Street and Third Street, is nearing completion. The splash pad will have over 6,000 square feet of aquatic play space featuring fountains, sprinklers and colorful sky-high water buckets.

Simmons Pet Food Marks Opening Of $100 Million Pet Food Operation In Dubuque

Today, Simmons Pet Food marked the official opening and beginning of the first phase of commercial operation at its $100-million, 275,000-square-foot canned pet food operation in Dubuque, IA. The opening ceremony began with a gathering of team members and community officials and a ribbon cutting, to be followed later this evening with a free community concert.
