Food safety is a very serious matter at Simmons. This is why Simmons issued a precautionary and voluntary recall for approximately 27,000 pounds of further processed boneless chicken products produced during one shift on October 3, 2023, at our Van Buren, Arkansas, location.

As part of its 100th anniversary, the Siloam Springs Rotary Club has awarded Mark Simmons, Chairman of the Board for Simmons Foods, with the inaugural Mark Simmons Service Above Self award. The award was presented October 21 at the Rotary Club’s 100-year celebration held at John Brown University.

Congratulations to Dr. Sara Throne, Senior Director of Veterinary Services, for her appointment to the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission! This distinguished honor comes directly from Governor Sarah Sanders, reflecting the immense trust in Dr. Throne's expertise and contributions to the livestock and poultry industries.

Simmons Foods announced it will provide a $10,000 donation to support the McDonald County School District food pantry. Additionally, Simmons will donate 1,700 pounds of chicken to the food bank.

Simmons Foods announced it will provide a $500,000 donation to support phase two of the Siloam Springs Panther Sports Complex (PSC). The donation will pay out over five years beginning in 2024.

Simmons Foods announces the 2023 award recipients for the M.H. “Bill” Simmons Memorial Scholarship program. This year’s class includes 67 high school graduates who will share more than $140,000 in scholarship awards.

Today, Simmons Foods presented a donation of $50,000 to the Southwest City Missouri Fire Department to assist in the purchase of new safety equipment for firefighters.
