Siloam Springs, AR – Simmons Feed Ingredients, Inc., an affiliate of Simmons Foods, based in Siloam Springs, AR, finalized the acquisition and transition of Pet Poultry Products, Inc., a Delaware-based manufacturer of frozen meat ingredients effective February 2, 2018. Simmons, a third-generation, family-owned company, operates three affiliated businesses including a farm to fork producer of prepared poultry products, a pet food manufacturer that is the largest supplier of private label wet pet food in North America, and Simmons Feed Ingredients, a leading provider of animal nutrition products.
The acquisition of Pet Poultry Products strategically positions Simmons to meet customer needs in an ever-changing and competitive animal nutrition market by providing additional processing capacity and broader distribution.

In making the announcement about the acquisition, Simmons officials informed the estimated 150 people working in three facilities located in Missouri, Pennsylvania and Delaware, that the company would retain all employees.
